The Vulnerable People Project

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, since early March 2020, we have embarked on a project called The Vulnerable People Project that aims to help survival sex workers eliminate further health risks for both the sex worker and consumer during COVID-19. Our goal is to assist survival sex workers with immediate basic needs to prevent them from succumbing to exchanging sexual favors for food, shelter, and basic needs.

In order to make a difference, we rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community. We are raising donations in the amount of $45,000.00 to help Freedom Youth Family Justice Center assist survival sex workers with basic needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Basic needs may include: rent assistance, Covid-19 related house products, Food Assistance, Metro Cards, and Safe Place Transfer Funds.
